CSRA is working to secure the rights of more than 4000 Workers in the Ballast Stone Quarry and Crushing units in 18 villages of Mohammadpur Bazar Block of Birbhum District under the support of the Azim Premji Foundation. Stone Workers are facilitated to awareness generation of their rights at the workplace; Collaboration has been initiated with the Government Health Department for early detection and compensation of Silicosis-affected workers; Linking the Workers with Social Security Benefits and Promotion of Workers collectives.
